Help Shape the Future of Aged Care – Join Our Advisory Panel!

What is the Aged Care Quality Consumer Advisory Body?

The Quality Consumer Advisory Body supports and guides Spectrum’s governing body. This panel aids in problem-solving and recommends improvements to enhance the quality of aged care services.

What does the Quality Consumer Advisory Body do?

The panel collects insights and feedback from aged care service staff, clients, and carers to enhance services. Members prepare a written report for the governing body every six months.

Panel members will evaluate feedback, identify trends, and participate in strategic discussions. This role requires problem-solving and forward-thinking to help shape policies, improve service delivery, and enhance the overall experience for aged care consumers.

The panel may request and review relevant information, which may include:

  • Feedback from consumers and their representatives
  • Continuous improvement plans
  • Compliance notices or regulatory actions taken by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC)
  • Working collaboratively with care staff, key personnel, and other service users or their carers.
