Interim General Manager In-home and Community Service

Fixed‑term | 2 months | Mid‑June to Mid‑August | Melbourne

This role is ideal for a senior leader with strong operational knowledge of Support at Home and CHSP, who is motivated by values‑led leadership and a genuine commitment to multicultural and culturally safe service delivery.

About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide steady and confident leadership across Spectrum’s in‑home and community services, with a particular focus on Support at Home and CHSP programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic and operational oversight of Support at Home and CHSP services
• Ensuring continuity of high‑quality, compliant and client‑centred service delivery
• Supporting and coaching senior leaders and managers
• Maintaining strong quality, accreditation, funding and contract compliance
• Building trusted relationships with staff, partners and funding bodies

This is a well‑established portfolio with engaged teams and clear priorities — your focus is continuity, people leadership and maintaining momentum.

 

About you

You will bring:

• Demonstrated senior leadership experience in Support at Home and/or CHSP services
• Strong understanding of quality, compliance and funding frameworks in aged care and community services
• A values‑driven, people‑centred leadership style
• A genuine interest in and commitment to multicultural and culturally diverse communities
• The ability to step in quickly, build trust, and lead with confidence over a short period

Experience working in culturally diverse service environments will be highly regarded.
